Inspired by the traditional cafés of old Athens, Gorgona presents a modern all-day format near the heart of Pangrati. Mornings begin with Greek-style breakfast offerings and quality coffee, welcoming early visitors. As the day progresses, the focus shifts to small meze—dishes that reflect the simplicity and sociability of historic kafeneia—and a cocktail menu developed by Likoiardopoulos, featuring classic recipes with Greek twists.

Chef Amanda Kontogiorgou Iakovidi, drawing on Greek, Italian and Japanese heritage, oversees the kitchen, infusing traditional meze with contemporary nuances. Gorgona stands out by honoring Athenian tradition while introducing fresh, cosmopolitan elements to the neighborhood café-bar scene.
