Yucatán Cocina Mexicana

Yucatán Cocina Mexicana brings Mexican cuisine inspired by the Yucatán peninsula to the south of Athens. The menu, developed by chefs Grigoris Kalekis and Panagiotis Papadopoulos, highlights hand-pressed tacos, quesadillas, and tamales, blending authenticity with technique and a focus on fresh ingredients. Choices range from mushroom tacos to birria beef, with distinctive touches like guacamole featuring Aegina pistachios or tostadas topped with tomato, black beans, and salsa macha on a crisp tortilla.

The cocktail program, under award-winning bartender Dimitris Papaioannou, includes a Yucatán margarita with pineapple and cardamom, Latin American classics, and a broad selection of tequila and mezcal. The space uses saturated colors and decorative elements to evoke the spirit of Yucatán, making it suited for both casual gatherings and special occasions, with music and décor integral to the overall experience.
