Bar Des Prés, the London outpost of French chef Cyril Lignac, has relocated within Mayfair to a corner site on South Audley Street. The redesign transformed the former Socca space, introducing a generous counter seating area and converting the back room into a private dining space. The move brings the restaurant greater prominence while maintaining its signature mix of French technique and Japanese influences.

The menu here stays true to its established identity, offering dishes like crunchy crab and avocado galette, marinated sea bass with yuzu, dry miso and rocoto, and their signature profiteroles finished with chocolate sauce and Chantilly. This branch continues Lignac’s approach of marrying Parisian sensibility with East Asian flavours, set in a cosmopolitan Mayfair setting that feels attuned to its new, more prominent position.
